White, Kostich Earn Spots on All-EIVA Second Team

Kostich clinched spots on the All-EIVA second team and EIVA All-Academic Team (Gil Talbot).

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association (EIVA) has announced the 2017 All-EIVA first and second teams which includes 20 student-athletes from the eight conference institutions. The EIVA also announced its All-Academic Team which includes nine student-athletes from the eight conference institutions.

Senior outside hitter, Casey White, and junior setter, Marko Kostich, have been selected to the All -EIVA second team for the 2017 season. White ended his tenure ranked second in Harvard's record book for all-time digs with 635 and ranked tenth in Harvard's all-time record book with 716 kills. The team co-captain earned his career-high in kills with 19 against No. 15 UCSB, and registered his career high in attacks with 57 against UCSB. White will graduate this spring with 10 career double-doubles. White has earned post season accolades from the EIVA in two-consecutive seasons.
 
Kostich concluded his junior season averaging 4.95 assists/set. The Burr Ridge, Illinois native currently ranks fifth in Harvard's all-time record book with 1691 career assists and is tied for eighth with 58 career service aces. Kostich earned his first double-double of the season against No. 15 UCSB, earning 29 assists and 11 digs and led the Crimson with a 60.0% attack, adding five assists against Coker on March 7. This marks Kostich's second-consecutive season earning all-conference accolades. 

Kostich was also named to the EIVA All-Academic team, alongside classmate Riley Moore. In order to be named to the team, recipients must have participated in at least 60% of their team's sets, maintained a minimum of a 3.50 GPA, and must be in at least their second year academically.
