
HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. -- Ellen Estes Lee, an
assistant coach with the Harvard men's and women's water polo
teams, has joined the USA Water Polo Board of Directors. A
two-time Olympian, Estes Lee will fill an athlete representative
slot on the board.
She will also serve as the Athlete Advisory Committee
representative to the United States Olympic Committee and as one of
two athlete reps on the USAWP board.
Estes Lee, who is In her second season with the Crimson programs,
won the silver medal with Team USA at the 2000 Olympic Games in
Sydney and followed that performance with the bronze at the 2004
Games in Athens. She was also a four-time All-America
selection at Stanford, helping the Cardinal claim the 2002 NCAA
title. In 2003, Estes Lee helped the U.S. win the World
Championships in Barcelona and the Pan American Games in Santo
Domingo.
