CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Juniors Luka Babic and Kevin DiSilvestro have been tabbed leaders of the 2011 Harvard men's water polo team by their teammates, becoming the 59th and 60th captains since the program's inception in 1980.

The pair was chosen at the team's end-of-the-year banquet in December to lead the team in their senior seasons next fall. Babic will begin his second straight season as co-captain of the team after serving alongside now-departed senior Bret Voith in 2010.

DiSilvestro earned the team's Most Improved Award for the second-straight year after notching two scores, three helpers and six takeaways in the team's first five games, then ending the year tallying 14 goals, four assists and five steals in the final six games of the season. He would finish fifth on the team in goals scored (29) and fifth in assists (17). Babic was a key part of the team all season long and among the team leader in stats the whole way. He ended the year fourth on the team in goals (34), second in assists (24) and tied for second with Voith in steals with 32.
