CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard men's water polo freshman Noah Harrison has been named the Collegiate Water Polo Association's (CWPA) North Division Rookie of the Week for his efforts at the Labor Day Invite.
In three games against Diablo Valley College, MIT and Yale, Harrison scored six goals, recorded one assist and contributed five steals to help lead the Crimson to a 2-1 mark Saturday. The California native tallied a pair of goals in all three games to tie for the team lead for the weekend, and his five steals were also tops for the Crimson.
This is the first CWPA honor for the Crimson this season after piling up 12 awards a year ago. It is also the first time that Harrison has been honored by the CWPA.
Harvard travels to New Jersey this weekend for four games at the Princeton Invitational before hosting the North-South Challenge Sept. 15-16.
