PRINCETON, N.J. –
The Harvard men's water polo team downed No. 17 Navy, 13-10, to give the Crimson its second win of the season on day one of the Princeton Invitational. Harvard fell to No. 14 Princeton, 14-7, to finish 1-1 on the day.

Up by one at the half, the Crimson (2-5) poured in eight more goals in the last two quarters to hand Navy its first loss of the season. Joey Colton, Ben Zepfel, Dan Stevens, Blake Lee, and Noah Harrison all netted two goals while Max Murphy, Vitkor Wrobel and Robbie Fluegge added one apiece.

On the defensive end, Colin Woolway made eight saves and two steals in goal while nine Crimson contributed one or more steals in the win.

Today marked the second time that the two teams have met at the Princeton Invitational.  The Crimson have now evened out the record at 1-1.

In the second game of the day, Harvard could not outlast No. 14 Princeton as the Crimson fell, 14-7. Harvard was unable to battle back from a three-goal deficit heading into the half. Princeton capitalized and expanded its lead to six by the start of the fourth quarter.

Rookie Colton paced the offense with two goals and an assist, while Harrison contributed four assists. Stevens and Wrobel dished out two assists each and Woolway made seven saves.

The Crimson returns to Denunzio Pool tomorrow to take on Johns Hopkins and George Washington.
