REGATTA HIGHLIGHTS:
Saturday: Mascoma Lake treated college sailing with a beautiful day of sailing in New
Hampshire. Eight races were sailed in each division. The sailors enjoyed a strong NW breeze
the entire day. Amo Loring helped with judging and rewarded two redresses. Sam Williams
and Matty Cohen logged over 9 hours in the RC boat. Ryan McClafferty was on scoring. Big
thanks to these people as well as all the other Dartmouth sailors who helped the regatta
get off to a great start. Sunday: Enfield, NH once again provided some breathtaking beauty. Unfortunately it was of
a more peaceful variety for most of the morning. A light Northerly filled just after noon and
enabled us to get two more races in each division. Thanks again to Sam, Matty, and Ryan for
being such a big help. Matt Hooks and Brian Doyle came down for judging today, but their
day was uneventful. Congradulations to the Monarchs who sailed great down the stretch in
a tight event. A division = 10 Races B division = 10 Races A B TOT 1. Old Dominion 47 73 120 2. U. Rhode Island 42 82 124 3. Brown 71 56 127 4. Dartmouth 37 91 128 5. Georgetown 66 76 142 6.
