Harvard Women's Sailing Eighth After Day One at ICSA Nationals
CASCADE LOCKS, Ore. – The Harvard women's sailing team is currently in eighth place following the first day of sailing at the Sperry Top-Sider/ICSA Women's National Championship regatta.
The Crimson currently has 92 points in the 18-team event with two days of sailing remaining. Five points currently separate Harvard and fifth-place Old Dominion. Yale leads the event with 38 points.
Alexandra Jumper and Emily Lambert sailed in the A division for the Crimson, finishing with 47 points after day one. Morgan Russom and Isabel Ruane competed in the B division for Harvard, tallying 45 points with two top-five finishes in the first six races.
