The No. 13 Harvard coed sailing team wrapped up competition at the Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association Gill Dinghy Fleet Race National Championship, placing 18th after qualifying for the finals on the St. Mary's River.

No. 13 Sailing Coeds Begin ICSA Gill Dinghy Fleet Race National Championship Tuesday
The No. 13 Harvard coed sailing team returns to the water June 3-6 to race at the Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association Gill Dinghy Fleet Race National Championship on the St. Mary’s River. After more than five weeks of preparation, the Crimson is eager to hit the water and start working its way towards its fifth coed dinghy national championship and first since 1974.

Drumm, Bradt, and Ruane Pick Up All-NEISA Second Team Honors
Following a ninth-place performance at the New England Dingy Championships, three members of the No. 13 Harvard coed sailing team picked up All-New England honors the NEISA awards committee announced Sunday afternoon. Brian Drumm was named second team skipper while Jacob Bradt and Isabel Ruane received second team crew nods.

Sailing Races at Four Weekend Regattas
The Harvard sailing teams took to the water for four weekend regattas the women claimed 13th the Reed Trophy. The 14th-ranked Crimson coeds finished third at the 10th George Morris Trophy, fifth at the 84th Boston Dingy Cup and 12th at the 29th Admiral’s Cup.

Women Sail for Spot to Nationals, Freshmen Compete for NE Title, No. 14 Coeds Race at Three Regattas
The Harvard women’s sailing team will sail for a ticket to the nationals this weekend at the 43rd Reed Trophy, New England Championship. The No. 14 Crimson coeds will send its freshmen class to the 73rd Priddy Trophy, New England Freshmen Championship and compete at the 84th Boston Dingy Club Challenge, 29th Admirals’ Cup and 11th George Morris Trophy.

No. 14 Sailing Coeds Turn in Three Top-Five Performances at Four Weekend Regattas
The No. 14 Harvard coed sailing team turned in three top-five performances at four regattas this weekend. The Crimson finished third at the Salvin Hill Invitational and the Thompson Trophy and placed fifth at the 70th Greater Boston Oberg Trophy. Harvard also competed at the Owen, Mosbacher and Knapp Trophies, where it finished eighth.

Sailing’s Busiest Spring Weekend Features Five Regattas
Halfway through racing this spring, the Harvard sailing team will face the busiest weekend of its 2014 schedule sailing in five regattas for seven trophies. The No. 14 Crimson coeds will compete at the 74th Owen, Mosbacher & Kanpp Trophies, 27th Thompson Trophy, the 70th Oberg Trophy and the Savin Hill Invitational. The women will take the water at the 35th Duplin Trophy.

On a weekend where New England saw a mixture of breezes, Harvard sailing teams competed in three regattas. The 17th-seeded Crimson coeds took sixth at the 65th Fowle Trophy and fifth at the 4th Mystic Team Race, while the women’s squad finished 17th at the Emily Wick Trophy.
