Coed Sailing Hosts Mike Horn Trophy Team Race
Harvard will host its final home regatta of the fall season this weekend at the Mike Horn Trophy Team Race, November 8-9. The regatta is the third home event of the year for the Crimson, which hosted a pair of Harvard Invitationals earlier in the season. Harvard will also sail at the Hap Moore Trophy Team Race and the Sister Esther Open.

Harvard coed sailing picked up its seventh top-10 finish in its last nine regattas after finishing sixth at the Schell Trophy and eighth at the Nickerson Trophy.

Harvard coed sailing picked up its second victory of the year at the Norman Reid Trophy Team Race after posting a 9-1 record in the regatta.

Harvard will sail at six regattas over the weekend of Oct. 18-19, sending student-athletes to Maryland, Connecticut and New Hampshire to compete. The Crimson will be represented at a trio of regattas in the Boston area as well.

Coed Sailing Records Three Top-Four Weekend Finishes
Coed sailing posted a second-place finish at Central Series Four and fourth-place finishes at the Smith Trophy and Olympians Regatta in Harvard’s busiest weekend of the year. Freshman Taylor Ladd finished 12th at the NEISA Women’s Singlehanded Championships, while the Crimson’s coed squad also logged eighth-place finishes at the Danmark Trophy and Harvard Invitational.
