Skiing takes to Williams Carnival

BURLINGTON, Vt. - Continuing on a tradition of hosing the William Carnival at the same time as the Winter Olympics, this year's Carnival is the "VanCOWver Olympic Winter Carnival". This is also the 94th Annual Williams Carnival. Some past Olympic year Williams Carnivals have been creatively named- "Moo"gano and MoocaTorino. Don't miss the Carnival ceremonies at the Paresky Student Center on Friday, Feb 19 at 8pm.
Friday alpine events at Jiminy Peak include Men's and Women's Giant Slalom. The Friday Nordic events at Prospect include Men's 10km classic individual start and the Women's event is a 5km classic individual start.
The Saturday alpine events include Men's and Women's Slalom at Jiminy Peak. Nordic events on Saturday include Men's 10km freestyle and Women's 5km freestyle. All of the Nordic events will be run on one 5km loop- see the link to the map below.
