CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Victoria Lippert scored a season-high 22 points on Thursday and followed that up with a 17-point performance on Sunday to earn COOP Athlete of the Week honors for Jan. 3, 2011.
Lippert led all scorers in the Crimson’s loss to Dayton on Thursday. She also grabbed four rebounds and dished out four assists, a career-high, in the game. Harvard bounced back with a victory over Massachusetts on Sunday with Lippert dropping 17 points on 7-of-16 shooting from the field, including three 3-pointers. She also grabbed six boards, dished out two assists, tallied one steal and rejected one UMass shot.
Lippert is currently second on the team with scoring at 13.5 points per game and third on the team in shooting percentage, converting 52.2 percent of her attempts. She leads the Crimson in 3-point percentage, making 45.2 percent of her attempts from behind the arc.
