Fagbenle and GB Basketball Wrap Up Exhibition Play Before 2012 London Olympics

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Temi Fagbenle and the Standard Life Great Britain women's national team wrapped up their exhibition schedule on Wednesday versus Team USA in preparation for the 2012 London Olympics.
Great Britain played four exhibition games after announcing its final 12-woman roster for the Olympic Games, beginning with a 74-57 win over Angola on July 13. That was followed by an 87-63 loss to Australia, a 74-67 win over France and the 88-63 loss to Team USA. GB will face both Australia and France in Pool Play once the Games begin.
Fagbenle saw significant court time in each of GB's games, averaging 20 minutes while earning the start at power forward against Team USA. The rising sophomore averaged 6.0 ppg and 5.0 rpg in the four contests, and shot 40.7 percent from the field.
The Opening Ceremony for the 2012 London Olympics will take place Friday, July 27 with Great Britain set to play Australia in the first round of Pool Play Saturday, July 28.
