Junior averaged a double-double for second-straight week.
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – For the second-straight week, Harvard women's basketball junior forward Temi Fagbenle has been honored by the conference, as she was tabbed the Ivy League Co-Player of the Week for Dec. 2.
The London, England product averaged a double-double (16.0 points, 10.0 rebounds) over two games, posting a season high 20 points at St. John's Sunday. Fagbenle shot 63.6 percent from the floor, adding 1.5 assists, 1.5 blocks and 1.0 steals.
This marks the fourth conference player of the week honor for Fagbenle and second this season. In 2012-13, Fagbenle tied the record for most Ivy League Rookie of the Week awards in a season, taking home the honor 10 times.
Harvard heads to Arizona for the first time since 1996 this weekend, participating in the Arizona State Classic against Long Beach State and either ASU or Sacred Heart.
