Fagbenle, McDonnell & Healy Earn All-Ivy League Honors
Senior forward Temi Fagbenle led a trio of Harvard women’s basketball student-athletes to earn All-Ivy League honors, the conference announced Friday afternoon. Fagbenle, a three-time All-Ancient Eight selection, was named to the second team, while McDonnell and Healy earned honorable mention selections.

Harvard women’s basketball senior Temi Fagbenle has been named the Ivy League Co-Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday. Fagbenle finished her career on a high note, averaging 15.5 points and 14.0 rebounds in a 2-0 weekend for the Crimson.

Final Home Weekend vs. Cornell, Columbia Awaits Women’s Basketball
Harvard women’s basketball hosts its final home weekend against Cornell and Columbia this Friday and Saturday. The Crimson and Big Red are set to meet Friday, Feb. 27 at 7 p.m. on ESPN3. Harvard and Columbia will tip Saturday, Feb. 28 at 6 p.m., honoring it’s the Class of 2015 beforehand. Both games will be streamed live on the Ivy League Digital Network. Friends and family unable to make it to the game for Senior Night are invited to tune in to the broadcast a few minutes before 6 p.m. to watch the ceremony in its entirety.

Senior forward Temi Fagbenle paced the Crimson with 19 points and seven rebounds, but the Crimson could not convert over the final six minutes, shooting 1-for-10 from the field and committing four turnovers.

Senior captains Erin McDonnell and Kaitlyn Dinkins added 15 and 12 points, respectively to round out a trio of double-figure scorers.

Women’s Basketball Heads South to the Georgia Tech Holiday Tournament
Harvard travels south to Atlanta for the Georgia Tech Holiday Tournament just before the New Year, Dec. 29-30. The Crimson will begin the competition against Louisiana Tech and the winner will advance to the championship game against the victor of the Georgia Tech-Lipscomb game. This will be the first time the Crimson has met Louisiana Tech, Georgia Tech and Lipscomb. The trip to Georgia will be the first since 2007-08, when the Crimson played in the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center Holiday Invitational.
