Women’s Basketball Announces 2014-15 Schedule

Coming off the second-most wins in program history, women's basketball announces its 2014-15 schedule.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. –Harvard women's basketball head coach Kathy Delaney-Smith announced the 2014-15 schedule today. The Crimson will play 11 games at Lavietes Pavilion.

Harvard will also make trips to Notre Dame and Georgia Tech as part of its 14-game nonconference slate. The Crimson begins Ivy League play Jan. 30.

The campaign opens with Colgate at Lavietes Pavilion Nov. 15. The Crimson will then travel across town to take on Boston University Nov. 17.

Harvard will participate in the Basketball Hall of Fame Tournament held at Notre Dame Nov. 23-25. The Crimson faces Quinnipiac Nov. 23, the Irish Nov. 24 and Holy Cross on the final day, Nov. 25. Harvard wraps the tournament with a neutral-site game against Temple Nov. 30 in Uncasville, CT.

Harvard continues on the road, heading to UMass Amherst (Dec. 3), followed by a trip to Maine (Dec. 7). The Crimson returns home after over a month away to host Northeastern Dec. 20, before heading back out to Atlanta for the Georgia Tech Tournament Dec. 29-30.

The new year kicks off with a seven-game home stretch, starting with games against Florida Gulf Coast (Jan. 2), UT Chattanooga (Jan. 5), and NJIT (Jan. 18). The Crimson begins its Ivy League slate with four-straight contests within the friendly confines of Lavietes. Princeton (Jan. 30), Penn (Jan. 31), Brown (Feb 6) and Yale (Feb. 7) visit Cambridge for a crucial portion of the Crimson's schedule.

Harvard will travel for six of the next eight conference matches, wrapping the schedule at Yale (March 6) and Brown (March 7).

All five nonconference home games, as well as every Ivy League game will be available to watch live through the new Ivy League Digital Network. The streams are available on desktop computers, as well as mobile devices, live and on-demand.
