The Black and White will travel to Indianapolis, Ind., for the NCAA Championships for the second-straight year.
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard-Radcliffe heavyweight crew has been selected to the field of 22 for the 2014 NCAA Rowing Championships, the organization announced Tuesday. The Black and White will head to Eagle Creek Park in Indianapolis, Ind., May 30-June 1 for its 20th national competition all-time.
Radcliffe is coming off a third-place showing Sunday at the Ivy League Women's Rowing Championships on the Cooper River. The Black and White was led by the varsity eight squad, who outpaced its seed to take home bronze.
The varsity eight is seeded 13th overall, the second varsity ranks 14th headed into the weekend and the V4 earned a No. 10 seed.
Radcliffe will race in the NCAA regatta for the fourth-straight year and 16th time during the 18-year history of the event. Radcliffe earned a varsity eight bid in 1997 and then team berths in eight straight seasons and again in 2007-09 and 2011-13. Radcliffe won the NCAA team and varsity eight championships in 2003.
