Pucci is one of eight defenders on the U.S. Women's Under-22 Select Team (Gil Talbot).

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -
Harvard defenseman Josephine Pucci has been named to the 2010 U.S. Women's Under-22 Select Team, USA Hockey announced Friday. Pucci is one of 22 players selected to the team and the lone Harvard representative named to the squad.

Pucci is one of eight defenseman that made the U-22 roster that is comprised almost entirely of collegiate players. The team will participate in the Women's National Festival, which will run from August 13-21 at the Olympic Center in Lake Placid, N.Y. The team will depart the festival early and travel to Toronto to compete in the three-game series against Canada from August 18-21. This is Pucci's first stint with the national program and joins five others who also earned their first spot on a national team roster.

Pucci saw action in 31 games in her freshman season with the Crimson and totaled 13 points on four goals and nine assists.
