Harvard Trio Named to U.S. Women's Hockey Roster for Four Nations Cup

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Two former members of the
Harvard women's hockey team and one current member have made
the U.S. Women's Select Team roster that will compete in the
Four Nations Cup, USA Hockey announced Friday. Katey Stone, the
Landry Family Head Coach for Harvard Women's Ice Hockey and
head coach of the U.S. Women's National Team, will lead Team
USA against Sweden, Canada and Finland at the November
tournament.
Julie Chu '06-07 will represent Harvard as one of 13 forwards selected for the tournament. Chu, a three-time USA Olympic team member, captured the Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award during her senior season with the Crimson. Caitlin Cahow '08, a two-time Olympian, earned a spot on the roster as a defenseman and joins Chu as one of the most veteran members of the squad. Sophomore Josephine Pucci earned a promotion to the senior-level team after a solid performance at the National Festival in August, and is one of seven defensemen on the roster.
The tournament kicks off Tuesday, Nov. 9 as the U.S. takes on host Canada at the Mile One Centre in St. John's, N.L.
