Stone Leads Team USA to Four Nations Cup Finals

Stone has led Team USA to an undefeated record in pool play at the 2010 Four Nations Cup (Gil Talbot).

ST. JOHN'S, N.L. –
Katey Stone, the Landry Family Head Coach for Harvard Women's Ice Hockey and head coach for the U.S. National Team, has led her team to the championship game of the 2010 Four Nations Cup. Stone and Team USA will be going for its fourth Four Nations Cup title in the history of the event.

After a 4-1 win over Sweden in a pre-tournament game at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, the United States snuck past rival Canada in the opening round of the tournament by a score of 3-2, winning a shootout, 1-0, on Tuesday. Former Harvard standout Caitlin Cahow '08 picked up an assist in the game on Meghan Duggan's goal in the second period. The U.S. Team shut out Finland, 4-0, on Wednesday and posted another 4-0 win over Sweden Friday morning to earn a spot in the championship game.

Cahow is joined by Julie Chu '06-07 and current sophomore Josephine Pucci as Harvard representatives on the U.S. squad. The United States will face the winner of the Canada-Finland matchup that takes place Friday evening.
