CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Jillian Dempsey of the Harvard women's ice hockey team was featured in a weekend roundup of New England hockey Dec. 10 in the Boston Herald. The Crimson co-captain was the highlighted piece of John Connolly's article titled "Dempsey doing it all."
Katey Stone, The Landry Family Head Coach for Harvard Women's Ice Hockey, commented on Dempsey saying, "She's awesome. She's leading our team by her great example. She's a huge part of why we've gotten off to a great start. She works hard. Her work ethic is great."
Dempsey, who currently ranks second in the nation in goals per game (1.27) and third in points per game (2.27), leads the Crimson with 14 goals, 11 assists and 25 points through the first 11 games. The Wintrhop, Mass. native and reigning ECAC Player of the Month will next put her 25-game point streak on the line Jan. 4 at Union.
