The Crimson will look for its 17th-straight ECAC Hockey tournament appearance and second-consecutive trip to the NCAA tournament. Last year, Harvard ended the year 24-7-3 overall and 17-3-2 in ECAC Hockey play. Aided by its fans, Harvard recorded a 13-1-1 mark at Bright Hockey Center. The Crimson shared the Ivy League title with Cornell, was runner-up at the ECAC tournament and advanced to the NCAA bracket.

The Crimson return 14 former players to the 2013-14 roster, while Michelle Picard, Josephine Pucci and Lyndsey Fry will serve as members of the U.S. Olympic roster. Highlighting the returners are ECAC Hockey tournament MVP Emerance Maschmeyer and Kalley Armstrong, the reigning ECAC Best Defensive Forward award winner.
