A second-half surge by the Harvard women’s lacrosse team wasn’t enough to overcome a strong first half by No. 11 Boston University as the Crimson fell to the Terriers, 13-9, Wednesday at Cumnock Field. The Crimson slips to 2-3 on the year while BU improves to 4-2 on the season.

Harvard hosts No. 7 Boston University in its first home game of the season Wednesday at Cumnock Field. The game is the first of four straight at home for the Crimson, who have a total of eight games on campus.
