Freshman Jen VanderMeulen of the Harvard women’s lacrosse team was named the Co –Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week for her efforts in Harvard’s upset win over No. 15 New Hampshire last week.
VanderMeulen led the Crimson with eight goals and an assist in two games for Harvard last week. She had five goals, two draw controls, two caused turnovers and a ground ball in Harvard’s upset win over No. 15 New Hampshire Tuesday afternoon. She led the Crimson with three goals, five draw controls, two ground balls and an assist in loss to No. 4 Penn. The attacker leads the Crimson with 13 goals and 15 points.
Harvard, who is receiving votes in the Inside Lacrosse Media poll, host its first home game of the season Wednesday against Boston University. First draw is slated for 4 p.m. at Cumnock Field.
