Romeo Earns Third Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week Award

PRINCETON, N.J. – Senior attacker Marisa Romeo has been named the Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon.

Romeo, a native of Syracuse, New York, led the Crimson offense in its 19-12 win at Brown Saturday, scoring five times and dishing out one assist. She netted four of her goals in the first half, with three of those coming during a four-minute stretch early in the period, helping Harvard build a 7-3 lead. This was the third time this season Romeo has scored five goals in a game.

A Tewaaraton Award watch list selection, Romeo was previously selected as the Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week March 6 and March 20.

Harvard hosts Penn this Saturday at 1 p.m. in its final regular season home game at Harvard Stadium.
