Graduated from Wylie E. Groves High School … Was an 11-year starter as a defenseman for the Michigan Icebreakers Women’s AAA Tier II Travel Hockey Club … Led the Icebreakers to a state championship, two Little Caesars Amateur Hockey League titles and three division championships … Has a very decorated scholastic career, being named a Coca-Cola National Scholar, Point Foundation Scholar, National Merit Finalist, AP Scholar with Honors, HT Ewald Scholar, State Farm Youth Advisory Board Grant Winner and a Groves Scholar … She is also very active in the community, earning the Presidents’ Volunteer Service Award, Prudential Spirit of Community Award State Finalist, Esteemed Women of Michigan Award and the Birmingham Youth in Service Award.
