Harvard defeats Mozzanica, 2-1.
After a long day sightseeing in Milan and a hardy Italian meal
in the countryside, we had our first game. We played A.S.D.
Mozanica, the champion of the A2 league, in front of a small local
crowd.
We are lucky anyone came considering Inter Milan was playing
Chelsea at the exact same time as our game. We managed to pull out
a 2-1 victory.
The first goal was scored by Caroline who won a loose ball and
then placed it perfectly in the left bottom corner of the goal.
Only ten minutes later, Alicia converted the game winner off a
cross. Overall it was a great friendly night game capped off by the
sweet smells of the country. Game one is finito, off to Florence
and our second game tomorrow.
