    The Ivy League slate has arrived after nine non-conference outings, and Harvard women’s soccer will welcome Penn to kick off the conference slate Saturday, Sept. 23 at 1 p.m. The game will be broadcast on the Ivy League Network.

  • Purce Called Up to United States Senior Women’s National Soccer Team

    Continuing to play at an elite level following a dynamic career at Harvard, Margaret Purce ’17 has been called up to the United States Women’s National Soccer team, as announced by the organization on Thursday. Purce becomes the first player in program history to earn a call up to the national level with the United States.
  • Durack Signs with Everton, Purce Scores First Professional Goal with Boston Breakers

    Continuing her soccer career after an imposing career between the posts, Lizzie Durack ’17 has signed with Everton of Football Association Women’s Super League 1 (FA WSL 1). The FA WSL 1 is the highest level of soccer in England. Her former teammate Margaret Purce ’17 has been a consistent pick in the Boston Breakers’ rotation, meanwhile, and scored her first career goal July 1.

    While I committed to Harvard in October of my junior year of high school, it didn’t hit me that I was going to Harvard, or even playing soccer in college, until my grandparents’ car rolled off the pike onto JFK. As we turned onto Mt. Auburn Street, tears started to quietly roll down my face. My mom looked over at me, I could not explain what I felt or why; all I knew was that it had to stop because I was about to meet my soon-to-be life long friends for preseason in Winthrop courtyard.

The defending Ivy champs will host a quartet of Ivy opponents, while taking non-conference trips throughout the Northeast. All Harvard home games and road Ivy contests will be broadcast on the Ivy League Digital Network.
