CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Alisha Mashruwala, the senior captain of the Harvard women's squash team, has been selected as one of three finalists for the 2011 Women's College Squash Richey Award. Mashruwala is 6-4 this season going 5-4 in the No. 3 spot and 1-0 as the No. 2.
The Richey Award is given annually to the women's college squash player who best exemplifies the ideals of squash in her love of and devotion to the game, her strong sense of fairness, and her excellence of play and leadership.
Yale's Logan Greer and Princeton's Jackie Moss, both captains this season for their respective teams, also join Mashruwala as finalists. The winner will be announced this weekend at the Women's National Team Championship.
