Incoming Freshmen Bolster Crimsons Repeat Hopes
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Eleven swimmers and
divers join the Crimson for the 2009-10 season. Coming from nine
different states and countries, the newcomers will contribute to
events this year as Harvard seeks its second straight Ivy League
title.
Head coach Stephanie Morawski ’92 welcomes the following
eleven members to the team:
Clare Foster – Breast/IM, Sherborn,
Mass./Dover-Sherborn
Volunteered as a swim instructor at Shawmut Aquatic Swim Clinic
for six years … Treasurer of National Honor Society …
Named American All-Scholastic during sophomore and junior years
… Brother, Maxwell, is captain of football and baseball
teams at Hamilton College … Enjoys cooking and sewing.
Camille Hendrix – Sprit Free, Austin,
Texas/Westlake
Captain of swim team senior year … Named to the TISCA
all-region and all-state swim team all four years of high school
… Member of the relay teams that hold school record in 200
and 400 free and 200 medley … Held the Texas 5A state record
in 200 and 400 free relays in 2007 … Member of National
