Women's Diving Team Competes at Texas Invitational
The Harvard women's diving team competed at the Texas Invitational (Gil Talbot).
AUSTIN, Texas – Five members of the Harvard women's diving team competed at the Texas Invitational over the weekend.
The Crimson began competition on Thursday with the three-meter dive, led by Leslie Rea's 10th-place finish in the prelims. Rea totaled 248.80 points but did not advance to the finals. Also competing for the women were Brittany Powell (12th, 229.80), Amanda Largent (13th, 229.30), Schuyler Moore (14th, 226.45) and Cassandra Corneau (17th, 212.35).
On Friday the Crimson turned their attention to the one meter, where Powell turned in a ninth-place finish in the prelims with a total of 229.65. Rea placed 10th with 229.45 points with Moore (13th, 217.95), Largent (14th, 214.40) and Corneau (17th, 196.60) rounding out Harvard's lineup.
Among those teams competing in the diving portion of the Texas Invitational were No. 3 Texas, Hawaii, Houston, TCU and Wisconsin.
