Women's Swimming and Diving Recruiting Class Ranked 16th in the Nation
Harvard’s incoming class of 2016 includes three individuals who are ranked among the top 100 recruits (OAC).
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – CollegeSwimming.com recently released its annual women’s recruiting class rankings and the Website tabbed Harvard’s 11 incoming freshmen as the 16th-best recruiting class in the country.
“Our incoming class will add depth to our program and will fill a few important needs including at backstroke and the distance events,” stated Stephanie Wriede Morawski, the Costin Family Head Coach for Harvard Women's Swimming & Diving. “This is a very well rounded group of women and we are thrilled that they chose Harvard.”
The Crimson’s incoming class consists of 11 individuals including Kendall Crawford, Connie Hsu and Margaret Ramsey who each competed at the 2012 Olympic Team Trials. Seven of the 11 newcomers received an individual ranking, with Sherry Liu (39), Crawford (42) and Hsu (81) each being ranked among the top 100 individuals. Other members of this year’s class include Emily Bonfig, Marlee Ehrlich, Shori Hijikata, Danielle Lee, Lulu Masclans, Daniela Suarez-Rebling and Orianna Wang.
