CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Reigning Ivy League Champions, Harvard women's swimming and diving team has announced its 2014-15 schedule. The Crimson will host five Ancient Eight foes in a renovated Blodgett Pool this season, all of which can be seen on the Ivy League Digital Network.
Harvard starts its regular season with a tri-meet at Blodgett against Cornell and Dartmouth on Nov. 15, before welcoming in Columbia on Nov. 21. The Crimson will then spread out over the weekend of Dec. 4 to three different, challenging invitationals on the national scale, including the Texas Invite (swimmers), the UGA Invite (divers) and the MIT Invite.
After its annual Training Trip, held in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, this January, Harvard will stay on the road after the new year for a dual at Duke in Durham, N.C., on Jan. 10. From there, the Crimson gets back into Ivy meets with a trip to Providence to take on Brown and Penn in a tri-meet on Jan. 17. Two weeks later, Harvard gears up to host the annual HYP meet as Yale and Princeton come to Blodgett pool on Jan. 30-31 to close out the dual season.
Harvard will look to defend its conference crown at the Ivy League Championships this season by hosting the conference event slated for Feb. 19-21. After the NCAA Zone Diving Regionals at Rutgers, the Crimson looks to send its share of swimmers and divers to the NCAA Championships, held in Greensboro, N.C., this season from March 19-21.
