No. 45 Womens Tennis Closes Out Regular Season at Dartmouth

The Harvard women's tennis team travels to Hanover, N.H. to take
on Dartmouth Wednesday afternoon in the final match of the regular
season.

About Harvard
The Crimson, who holds a 13-7 record and a 5-1 mark in Ivy League
play, has won seven of its past eight matches, including the last
three.
Junior Samantha Rosekrans boasts a perfect 6-0 mark against Ancient Eight opponents and is on a eight match win streak dating back to March 18 against St. Mary's. She holds a 13-6 record in the No. 4 singles position. Sophomore Holly Cao is 14-4 in No. 1 matches. Together, Rosekrans and Cao hold a 10-8 mark in No. 1 doubles matches this spring.
About Dartmouth
The Big Green, coming off a 5-2 loss to Brown on Monday, holds a
16-5 overall record with a 3-3 mark in Ivy League play.
Last Time Out
Harvard defeated Yale, 4-3, Sunday afternoon to claim sole
possession of second place in the Ivy League. The Crimson scored
the first point of the afternoon after picking up wins in the top
two doubles matches. Holly Cao and Samantha Rosekrans won, 8-3, in
the No. 1 doubles match and Hideko Tachibana
and Kristin
Norton won by the same score in the No. 2 match.
In singles play, Yale tied the score with a victory in the No. 6 singles match. Harvard and Yale split the following four matches, with the Crimson claiming the No. 3 and 5 matches before the Bulldogs tied it with wins at the No. 3 and 1 positions.
On court four, Samantha Rosekrans dropped her first set, 6-7(5) to Stevi Petrelli, but tied it up with a 6-4 win in the second set. Rosekrans pulled out a 6-3 victory in the third set to give Harvard the match win.

In the latest Campbell's/ITA Rankings, Harvard stands at No. 45
with a 13-7 record. In the singles rankings, sophomore Holly Cao is
No. 73 with a 14-4 record in dual matches at the No. 1 position.
Coming Up Next
With the conclusion of the regular season, Harvard will await
announcement regarding the NCAA Tennis Championships. The selection
show can be seen on ESPNews Tuesday, May 4 between 5-6 p.m.
