Richardson Runs Personal Best, Chenoweth Just Misses All-America Honors at NCAAs

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Three members of the
Harvard cross country teams ran their final races of the 2009
season at the NCAA Championships Junior Daniel Chenoweth finished
42nd, while classmate Claire Richardson ran a personal best.
Chenoweth completed the 10k course in 30:23, just 2.2 seconds and
two spots away from USTFCCCA All-America honors. Chenoweth, who was
42nd out 250 runners, was the first Ivy League runner to cross the
finish line. This was his second straight top 45 performance at the
national meet.
Richardson ran a personal best 21:17 to finish 100th the 6k race
that featured 254 runners. She finished 44 spots ahead of her
performance last year and two seconds ahead of her best time at
this distance.
Sophomore Kailyn Kuzmuk, running at her first national
championships, placed 185th overall with a time of 21:55.4.
