Audrey Francois Selected to Canada Women’s Soccer U20 Roster For Upcoming International Action

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard women's soccer rising junior, Audrey Francois is on her way to Germany to compete in international play after being selected to the Canada Women's Soccer U20 National Team last week. Francois, a member of the Harvard class of 2026 and a forward for the Harvard women's soccer program will get to represent her home country in a series of upcoming international matches.

Francois, a Laval, Quebec native, will once again wear the Maple Leaf and play in a series of two international matches against the United States and Germany. This camp will serve as valuable preparation for this summer's FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Colombia 2024™.

This camp marks the first gathering of Canada Soccer's Women's U-20 National Team since the Concacaf Women's Under-20 Championship in June 2023, when Canada clinched a third-place finish after competing in five matches in the short 10-day tournament. Francois will look to play her way into a roster spot for the U20 World Cup when she takes the pitch this week.

Francois is no stranger to the international stage, as she has competed with the Team Canada U15 and U20 squads since 2016. The current sophomore made her first national team camp at 13 years old in 2016-17 with the U15 and U17 team and then went on to  compete with Canada's U15 team at the 2018 CONCACAF Championship and with the U17 team during its China tour in 2017.
