Field Hockey Moves Up to No. 3 in Penn Monto/NFHCA Coaches Poll, the Highest Ranking in Program History

COLORADO SPRIGS, Colo. – Harvard field hockey reaches another historic milestone in an already remarkable 2025 season, as the Crimson moved up to No. 3 in the latest release of the Penn Monto/National Field Hockey Coaches Association's National Coaches Poll, representing the highest ranking in program history.

Over the weekend, the Crimson made history in both of its matches. After defeating Columbia, 2-0, thanks to fourth quarter goals from sophomore forward Emily Bronckers and junior midfielder Lara Beekhuis, Harvard clinched the eighth Ivy League regular season title in school history and the right to host the 2025 Ivy League Tournament.

Harvard then ended the weekend with a key 1-0 win against No. 16 UMass on the road. Sophomore forward Martha le Huray tallied the game-winning goal in the fourth quarter, as the Crimson earned its 15-straight win, the longest winning streak in program history.

On the 2025 season, Harvard is 15-0, as the Crimson is the lone unbeaten team in the nation. Along with the Penn Monto/NFHCA Coaches Poll, Harvard also owns the No. 2 spot in the NCAA Ratings Percentage Index. Harvard concludes the regular season on the road on Friday, Oct. 31, as the Crimson is set for a 6 p.m. clash with Yale.
