CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard landed 10 athletes on the 2025-26 ICSA All-Academic Sailing Team, it was announced on Monday. The 10 honorees marked the program's most since 2023, when it boasted 12 all-academic performers.
Landing on this year's team were
Aidan Pesce,
Christina Chen,
JJ Drummond,
Justin Callahan,
Katherine Shin,
Mitchell Callahan,
Peyton Hadfield,
Robby Meek,
Sophia Montgomery and
Xavier Ayala-Vermont. For the Callahans, Pesce and Montgomery, it marked their second career award.
To be considered for the team, sailors must be a junior or senior, participate as a competitor or alternate in seven regattas and have a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
The Crimson is in action at the ICSA Fleet Racing National Championship in St. Petersburg, Florida. The women's regatta is currently taking place and will run through May 18. The open championship is set for May 19-22.
