CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Sophomore outfielder Conor Quinn has been selected to the preseason All-Ivy League first team by College Sports Madness.
Quinn hit .291 as a freshman with one home run and 17 RBI, and was fourth on the team with seven doubles. Making 39 starts, the Amherst, Massachusetts native recorded his first-career homer over the Green Monster at Fenway Park in the Beanpot Consolation game. On April 14 of last season, Quinn was named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week after a terrific series against Brown and in a single game against Massachusetts.
Harvard baseball opens its 2016 campaign against Richmond March 4 at the Wake Forest Tournament in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The first pitch is slated for 10 a.m.
