PRINCETON, N.J. – Harvard baseball senior Noah Zavolas has been named the Ivy League Pitcher of the Week as announced by the conference today. Just one week after his no-hitter, Zavolas backstopped Harvard to a 3-1 victory in game one against Brown. The Acton, Mass. native totaled 11 strikeouts through eight innings, one shy of his career high. In addition to allowing just four hits and not a single run, Zavolas held Brown batters to a .154 average.
This is the second consecutive week that Zavolas has earned Pitcher of the Week.
Harvard baseball returns to action tomorrow, April 24, to face Princeton in a doubleheader.
