GREENSBORO, NC – Rising senior Jake Suddleson has been recognized as an ABCA/Rawlings Third Team All-America honoree as announced by the ABCA this past weekend. Suddleson adds to his growing list of accomplishments that includes Ivy League Player of the Year.

Junior Jake Suddleson ended the season with a .416 batting average against conference opponents, which won him Ivy League Player of the Year award. Suddleson is the last Harvard player to win the award since Andrew Huling in 1999 season. Against conference opponents, Suddleson leads the way with 37 hits, eight home runs, 36 RBIs and a .758 on base percentage. The clean-up hitter finished the regular season with 53 RBIs, breaking a program record for single-season RBIs set by Andrew Huling, which he established during his player-of-the-year campaign in 1999.

The ABCA, founded in 1945, is the primary professional organization for baseball coaches at the amateur level. Its over 11,000 members represent all 50 states and 23 countries. Since its initial meeting of 27 college baseball coaches in June 1945, Association membership has broadened to include eight divisions: NCAA Division I, II and III, NAIA, NJCAA, Pacific Association Division, High School and Youth.
