Harvard Football Welcomes 35 Incoming Freshmen in Class of 2019

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Tim Murphy, The Thomas Stephenson Family Head Coach for Harvard Football, has announced the names of 33 recruited student-athletes who have accepted offers of admission to Harvard University for the 2015-16 academic year.

The Class of 2019 represents a total of 20 different states after Harvard saw 14 states represented a year ago. It is a diverse class with no more than seven players hailing from any one state. California leads the way with seven student-athletes, followed by Texas with five and Massachusetts and Ohio with three each.

Other states represented include: Alabama, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Virginia.
