Easton was an All-American last year for the Crimson (Baltimore Ravens).
BALTIMORE, Md. – Former Harvard standout Nick Easton '15 has been traded from the National Football League's Baltimore Ravens to the San Francisco 49ers, it was announced Saturday morning.
A center, Easton, who was dealt for a future draft pick, was a third team AP FCS All-America honoree last year for the Crimson. He was also named to the FCS North All-America first team and New England Football Writers' Associate All-New England team. He participated in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl and was named to the All-Ivy League first team for the second-consecutive season.
A native of Lenoir, North Carolina, Easton, who enjoyed a strong preseason camp with the Ravens, started all 10 games for Harvard in 2014 and helped the Crimson rank among the nation's best in several statistical categories, including 14th in rushing offense (230.5 yards per game) and 18th in completion percentage (.643).
