CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Dartmouth wide receiver Victor Williams and Stonehill quarterback Matt Foltz have been awarded New England Football Writer's Association Gold Helmets after posting career-days to lead their respective teams to victory on Saturday.

Williams had a career-night against Sacred Heart under the lights at Memorial field, setting new single-game career marks with 11 receptions for 179 yards as Dartmouth thumped Sacred Heart, 49-7. The Muskogee, Okla. product had a monster second quarter, hauling in six receptions for 117 yards, including a 60-yard touchdown reception to put the exclamation point on Big Green's  first-half dominance as it took a 35-0 lead. The senior accounted for more than half of Dartmouth's' total receiving yards and had three receptions of over 30 yards as Big Green moved to 2-0 on the season for the first time since 2012.

For the second time in three weeks, Foltz led Stonehill to an improbable fourth quarter comeback, answering the Sky Hawk's prayers with a last-second Hail Mary as Stonehill stunned LIU Post, 40-37, in a battle of undefeated teams. The Sky Hawks faced a 17-point deficit with 2:13 remaining, but Foltz led Stonehill to score 20 points in the final 62-seconds, capped by a wild scramble and Hail Mary connection on the last play of the game to stun the Pioneers. The sophomore had a performance for the ages, tossing for a school-record 421 yards, recording the first 400-yard passing game in program history, producing three receivers with at least 100 receiving yards in a game for the first time in school history and tied the school-record with six touchdown tosses. Foltz was clutch in the fourth quarter, going 14-for-24 for 245 with four touchdowns through the air to lead Stonehill to its first 4-0 start since 1995.
