CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Senior offensive lineman Cole Toner of the Harvard football team has accepted an invitation to the Reese's Senior Bowl, which will be held in Mobile, Alabama at 1:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016.
The game, which will air on the NFL Network, will be played at Ladd-Peebles Stadium. Toner fills one of 110 roster sports that form the North and South squads for the nation's premier all-star game.
The Greenwood, Indiana product has been a three-year starter and four-year presence at right tackle on the Crimson's offensive line, garnering All-Ivy League first team honors last season after helping Harvard post its 17th perfect season, going 10-0 overall.
Toner has started eight games this season and has helped Harvard's offense rank among the nation's best in several statistical categories, including 11th nationally in total offense (471.3 yards per game) and 9th in passing offense (302.6 yards per game).
The senior is also a semifinalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy, which recognizes an individual as the absolute best football scholar-athlete in the nation. Toner was named to the STATS FCS Preseason All-America Team and College Football America FCS Starting Lineup.
Toner and the Crimson will travel to Yale this Saturday for the 132nd playing of The Game in the season finale. The game can be seen live on NBC Sports Network at 2:30 p.m.
