PRINCETON, N.J. – Harvard football junior safety Tanner Lee has been named Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

The honor, the first for Lee, comes after a two-interception performance helped the Crimson to a 29-13 win over Cornell last Saturday. In his first career start, Lee picked off his second career interception in the second quarter to stop a Cornell drive at the Harvard 16-yard line. His second pick came in the end zone during the third quarter, sullying the Big Red's attempt to come within a score.

Lee and the 4-0 Crimson hit the road for three-straight weeks, beginning Saturday at Holy Cross. Game time is set for 1:05 p.m. at Fitton Field.
