CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Senior offensive lineman Max Rich of the Harvard football team has been selected to the Associated Press All-America FCS third team, it was announced Friday.

Rich, an All-Ivy selection in each of the last two years, including a first-team nod this fall, hails from Portland, Oregon, and was a semifinalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy (the “Academic Heisman”) and a nominee for the National Football Foundation National Scholar-Athlete Award. Rich also garnered a spot on the All-New England team after helping the Crimson average 26.2 points per game this season, posting 241 yards through the air and 149.9 yard on the ground per game.

Harvard finished 7-3 overall and 5-2 in the Ivy League, marking the 16th-straight year the Crimson won seven or more games, a conference record. The senior class will graduate with an overall record of 35-5, one victory shy of the school and Ivy record (since 1956).
