Harvard will visit Rhode Island Sept. 16 (Gil Talbot).
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Entering its 144th season, the Harvard football team will play five home games and five road contests under Tim Murphy, The Thomas Stephenson Family Head Coach for Harvard Football.
Murphy, who will be going into his 24th season leading the Crimson, guided Harvard to a 7-3 campaign in 2016. The Crimson has won at least seven games for an Ivy League-record 16-straight seasons.
Harvard will open the 2017 campaign on the road at Rhode Island Sept. 16 before hosting Brown in the Ivy League opener Sept. 23. The Crimson will travel to Georgetown Sept. 30 and Cornell Oct. 7 before beginning a three-game homestand by hosting Lafayette Oct. 14.
After playing home games against Princeton and Dartmouth Oct. 21 and Oct. 28, respectively, Harvard visits Columbia Nov. 4 before facing Penn on Senior Day at Harvard Stadium Nov. 11.
The 134th playing of The Game will be held at Yale Nov. 18.
All game times and television information will be announced at a later date. Each of Harvard's home non-conference games, and all Ivy League games not being televised, will be broadcast live on the Ivy League Digital Network.
