CoSIDA RELEASE

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Senior football student-athletes Tanner Lee and Alex White have been named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District team, as announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America Thursday.

Lee is making his second-straight appearance on the Academic All-District Team. A safety from Spanish Fort, Alabama, Lee ranks second on the team with 50 tackles and has picked off a team-best three passes. His highlight interception came when he returned an interception 39 yards for a touchdown against Brown. Lee also has a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and three pass breakups this season. He is concentrating in Applied Mathematics.

White earned his first Academic All-District honor after being a force in opposing offenses' backfields. The Maiden, North Carolina native leads the Crimson with 4.5 sacks this season. The versatile linebacker has 23 total tackles. He is concentrating in biomedical engineering.

To be eligible for CoSIDA Academic All-District consideration, a student-athlete must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30 and be a starter or key reserve for his or her team.
