Field Hockey Earns Top Academic Honors from NFHCA

Senior Dina Sinno is a four-time honoree on the NFHCA National Academic Squad (Gil Talbot).

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.  – This week, the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFCHA), has announced its top performers for the Division I National Academic Team Award and the Division I National Academic Squad. Harvard field hockey was recognized as the team with the third-highest GPA at 3.58, while 16 individual student-athletes earned spots on the Academic Squad.

American (3.65) and Quinnipiac (3.61) were the lone teams to finish ahead of Harvard. Bucknell (3.55) and Bryant (3.54) rounded out the top-five teams recognized in the Academic Team Award.

In addition, 16 Harvard student-athletes earned spots on the Academic Squad. The National Academic Squad recognizes those student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the first semester of the 2015-16 academic year. Among those honored was senior Dina Sinno, a four-time honoree.
