CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Sophomore goalkeeper Ellie Shahbo was named Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced today (Oct. 7).

Shahbo continued her excellent play of late, allowing just one goal in two wins this weekend against Penn (W, 6-2) and No. 13 Liberty (W, 2-1). She made two saves in three quarters of work against the Quakers, and stopped four of five shots in an overtime victory against Liberty on Sunday.
